Public Prosecutor Tobias Kampen 

Tobias Kampen was born in Essen and grew up in a middle-class family. When the time came for university he decided to study law, because he felt the profession would give him the opportunity to make a real difference to the world. His approach to his job is clear-sighted and tough, and he has gained the reputation of being hard but fair. Despite enjoying considerable respect and good contacts in his profession, he has remained a loner and deliberately maintained a certain independence. While still a student he developed a fondness for English sports cars and car racing.

The actor Axel Pape

Axel Pape was born in Düsseldorf on 26.09.1956, He has been living in Berlin since 1989. From 1983 to 1991 he appeared on stage in various cities, including Dortmund, Mannheim, Berlin and Düsseldorf, and during this period he took his first television roles. He became familiar to huge numbers of TV viewers with his portrayal of Inspector Severing in the series "Die Wache", a part he played from 1992 to 1994. This was followed by the leading role in the ZDF feature film "Auf dünnem Eis". In 1996 he appeared in Kai Wiesinger"s feature film "14 Tage lebenslänglich". Since then Axel Pape has appeared in numerous productions, playing a broad range of characters, including the TV series "Ein Fall für Zwei", "Der Ermittler" and the 2001 anniversary episode of "Tatort” – "Endspiel". He is also involved on a regular basis with debut and independent productions.
